For sale: a very decorative and unique tin enema syringe (klysmaspuit), crafted in the classic 19th-century medical model. This object was produced by the well-known German tin foundry Thurn-Synthetik (Thurn-Zinn / TS-Zinn) in the second half of the 20th century.
The syringe is entirely made of high-quality, guaranteed lead-free cast tin (Reinzinn). The underside and screw caps bear the official syringe mark: a prancing horse accompanied by the initials 'TS'. The object features a turned, black-stained wooden plunger handle.
A beautiful medical curiosity and an absolute showpiece for collectors of historical medical instruments, curiosities, or vintage decorative tin.
