Bausch & Lomb is a Canadian company for eye care products, based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the world’s largest suppliers of contact lenses, lens care products, pharmaceutical products, intraocular lenses and other products for eye surgery.
The company was founded in 1853 in Rochester, New York, by optician John Bausch and furniture maker Henry Lomb, who later became a financial investor. Until its sale in 2013, Bausch + Lomb was one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the United States.
