Description from the seller

Important, scenographic and richly complete table service set, with serving pieces, made in Diamondstone strong earthenware from the Laveno manufacture (S.C.I. Richard-Ginori Group).
The service is entirely decorated in monochrome blue under glass with the famous historical Piedmontese/Lombard lakeside views motif. Each type of plate presents a variant of the landscape: flat plates and trays offer wide perspectival views with castles and towns, while dessert plates and bowls focus on romantic scenes with sailing boats in motion. The wavy, slightly lobed edges enhance the classic, timeless elegance of this production.

The service consists of:
* 12 Flat plates 25ø
* 12 Deep plates / bowls 24ø
* 12 Dessert/fruit plates 20.5ø
* 1 Monumental grand tureen with lid and flame/ bud handle 26ø
* 1 Grand deep salad bowl 24ø
* 1 Grand oval service tray (with splendid panoramic view of a coastal town) 27x25
* 1 Large round service plate 31ø
* 1 small bowl 14.5ø

BRAND HISTORY: S.C.I. LAVENO / RICHARD-GINORI
The mark on the bottom attests to the synergy of Italian design excellence in the second half of the 20th century. The Italian Ceramics Company of Laveno, founded in 1856, was absorbed by Richard-Ginori in 1965. This specific blue mark with the steamboat combines the historic logos of both houses, indicating an elite production destined to endure in time thanks to the ceramic body “Diamondstone,” designed to resist wear while maintaining the showroom gloss.

CONDITION REPORT
The service is in exceptional vintage condition, to be considered excellent for this type of ceramic:
* Integrity: No chipping, cracking, glaze loss or restoration. All edges are intact and serving pieces are perfectly whole.
* Display and Color: The cobalt blue print is incredibly sharp, shiny and bright, a sign of protection from humidity and thermal shocks.

PROFESSIONAL PACKING AND SAFE SHIPPING
Given the exceptional numerical consistency and the overall weight of the lot, shipping will require tailored packaging:
* Multi-Parcel Shipment: The lot will be strictly divided into multiple separate boxes to prevent plate weight from overloading and damaging underlying pieces.
* Total Protection: Each plate will be isolated with bubble wrap, and stacks will be stabilized with polystyrene."

Seller's Story

Vintage ceramics and porcelains are often worked and decorated with masterful precision and delicacy, they are objects of timeless charm, the result of knowledge handed down and widespread. From a historical and cultural point of view, they represent an extraordinary combination of craftsmanship and art, which takes the form of works of rare beauty. An authentic passion that drives me to identify shapes, models and decorations and to identify a possible or certain dating of the objects through a continuous study of sources and archives.
