Val Saint Lambert – Porto / Whiskey set 'Muscadet' with decanter and six glasses.

Modernist decanter from the Porto / whiskey service 'Muscadet' in clear crystal glass, doubled with red crystal. Also six accompanying cordial glasses in the same color.

The decanter and glasses are described in the Val Saint Lambert catalog of 1950 (see illustration).

This is the Muscadet model designed by Charles Graffart, artistic director of the Val-Saint-Lambert crystal factory from 1942 to 1958.

The decanter and glasses are in excellent condition with only normal to minor signs of age.

Height of the decanter is 23.5 cm, base diameter 15 cm. The glasses are 7 cm tall.

Modernistische karaf van het porto / whiskey servies ‘Muscadet’ in transparant kristalglas gedoubleerd met rood kristal. Tevens zes geassocieerde borrelglaasjes uitgevoerd in dezelfde kleur. Karaf en glaasjes staan beschreven in de Val Saint Lambert catalogus van 1950 (zie illustratie).

Dit is het Muscadet model ontworpen door Charles Graffart, artistiek directeur van de Val-Saint-Lambert kristalfabriek van 1942 tot 1958. 

Karaf en glaasjes bevinden zich in uitstekende staat met alleen normale tot geringe sporen van ouderdom. 

Hoogte van de karaf is 23,5cm, diameter basis is 15 cm. De glaasjes zijn 7 cm hoog.
