Description from the seller

Grand decorative panel on silk attributed to Fabbriziani & Calandra
Italy, 1970s

Important large-format decorative work (150 × 92 cm including frame), attributed to the famous Roman atelier Fabbriziani & Calandra, known for its refined Orientalist creations intended for prestigious interiors in the seventies.

The work depicts a suggestive composition with a white tiger and a spotted feline among bamboo and Asian vegetation, in a scenographic balance of strong visual impact, clearly inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics reinterpreted through the Italian Mid-Century taste.

Made with artistic screen-printing technique on silk applied to a rigid support, the panel preserves all the decorative refinement typical of Fabbriziani & Calandra productions: chromatic elegance, strong presence, and a refined dialogue between Eastern art and Italian design of the 1970s.

The piece bears the atelier’s signature and is accompanied by the original black lacquered frame.
General condition: very good.

For workmanship, dimensions, and subject matter, the piece fits perfectly into the high-end mid-century market and international interior design, making it ideal for luxury environments, vintage collections, or interior projects in Japandi, Hollywood Regency, and Oriental Modern styles.

Dimensions:
150 × 92 cm (including frame)

Provenance:
Italy

Period:
Circa 1970s
