Description from the seller
GENERAL:
The 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75, first registered in Belgium, therefore European, and its odometer is in kilometers. It represents the pinnacle of postwar American automotive luxury. With a wheelbase of 3.85 meters and an overall length approaching 6.4 meters, this model was the only GM production vehicle built entirely by hand on a real limousine chassis. It is the ultimate expression of the prestige of the "Standard of the World" in an era where size and presence meant everything. As was standard in luxury configurations of this period, this specimen features the classic division of materials: leather for the chauffeur’s compartment, chosen for durability and resistance to daily wear, and a sumptuous plush for the rear passengers, prioritizing thermal comfort and exclusivity. This unit in particular is a flagship that has been maintained to an absolute standard of excellence.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
The vehicle presents an immaculate body that was completely dismantled and repainted in 2024. The resulting finish is of professional level, smooth and flawless throughout. This work is complemented by bright chrome on all moldings, bumpers, and exterior details, which are in mirror-like condition to highlight the natural elegance of its lines.
MECHANICS:
Under the hood lies the legendary 7.7-liter V8 engine, a rugged and meticulously maintained mechanicals that is completely dry and free of oil or fluid leaks. The car stands out for its reliability with an excellent cold start demonstrating optimal tuning. On the road it unleashes its great power with total smoothness, offering the iconic cloud-like driving experience that defines Cadillacs of this era. The tires are less than 2 years old and have barely 200 kilometers of use.
INTERIOR:
The cockpit presents a healthy, clean, and very well-preserved appearance, managing to retain intact the original luxury atmosphere of the 1970s. The interior remains immaculate and functional, except for the original radio; although we have it, it was removed in its day to be repaired but the intervention did not take place. The instrument panel is clean and shows no warning lights on.
DOCUMENTATION:
All vehicle documentation is strictly in order to facilitate transfer. The unit is registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain, which grants benefits in terms of inspections and circulation. Its next ITV (vehicle inspection) appointment is scheduled for late 2027, ensuring a long period of peace of mind for the buyer.
PICK-UP:
The vehicle is available for collection in Olot, Girona Province (Catalonia), Spain. We provide every possible convenience for delivery; we have our own management service to speed up any necessary administrative procedures. We also arrange specialized transport to any point in Europe with a tailor-made budget, ensuring that the car arrives at its destination in perfect condition.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
