Description: A large and finely crafted model silver pie server with gilding, featuring a double heart fillet handle construction with an engraved heraldic coat of arms on the reverse. Very handsome model, made by the Parisian silversmith Laurent Labbé circa 1830/35.

Silversmith: Laurent Labbé (1829-1852)
Year: ca. 1830/35 (since assay marks date from 1819-1838 and Labbé began as a goldsmith in 1829)
Assay marks: Le Vieillard (quality mark), Ceres head (great guarantee mark Paris), master mark (LL with rabbit), snout beetle assay mark
