Pair of Art Deco nightstands in veneered wood with precious veneers dating from the 1940s, approximately.
The nightstands rest on two curved, elongated legs toward the back, with the lower edge ebonized.
One single body, completely veneered in rosewood.
They have a rosewood top; beneath the top there is a slim drawer and a wide central drawer veneered with light rosewood, while the perimeter of the drawer, the top, and the sides are in dark rosewood. Beautiful original handles in chromed metal with Bakelite inserts. Curved uprights.
Excellent condition, recently restored. Small pieces of wood replaced and minor repairs. The handles may have small pieces of Bakelite missing, a stain on the wood of one drawer.
Dimensions: h 64.5 cm x 44 x 34/37 (to the handle). Approximately each.
Shipped via tracked courier with careful packaging.
