Incredible archive lot belonging to Ito Mancini, a pioneer of Abruzzo motoring and an excellent musician and composer of the era.
The lot offers rare and coherent documentation of the birth of Italian motoring.
The lot includes:
- rare photo postcard (1912) depicting Ito Mancini at the helm of his sidecar.
The postcard is signed, properly stamped and postmarked with the date October 11, 1912, and has traveled.
- two unpublished photographs from the period showing him aboard his Amilcar cabriolet.
- historic driving license. Original document/photo card with signature and stamp. On the back, though deteriorated, the reference to the Law of June 30, 1912, the first national regulation on mechanical circulation, is clearly legible. An item of extreme documentary rarity.
- photo postcard together with his wife;
- original unpublished musical score, handwritten on heavy staff paper. Music he composed in the 1920s.
