The specimen was cut from a single block of massive malachite and subsequently worked and polished with great care, until a perfectly spherical surface was obtained that allows a continuous reading of the mineral.
Malachite presents well-developed botryoidal and concentric structures, with thin bands, multiple eyes and globular aggregates distributed tridimensionally across the entire surface. The hues range from deep emerald green to lighter, brighter greens, creating a natural contrast with remarkable visual depth. The stratifications and wavy lines are the direct result of hydrothermal processes related to copper mineralization, developed over long geological periods.
Professional polishing enhances the internal texture of the mineral without altering its authenticity, making the growth structures perfectly legible.
