Who was Franco Martinengo?
Design Career: He began working at Stabilimenti Farina in 1928, later becoming its director. In 1952 he moved to Carrozzeria Pininfarina, where he oversaw the creation of iconic models such as the Fiat Dino Spider and the Alfa Romeo Duetto.
Artistic Activity: As a painter, he used several techniques including oil, watercolor, and etching. His works are often dedicated to the world of engines, blending his technical precision as a designer with a strong chromatic passion.
Trivia: He was a first cousin of Pope Francis.
