French Crystal Six-Glasses Service – First Half of the XX Century
Refined service consisting of 6 wine glasses in fine French crystal, dating from the first half of the 20th century.
The glasses are distinguished by a solid, geometric design with a strong visual impact. The crystal, though without signatures or maker marks, is extraordinarily brilliant, clear, and endowed with excellent transparency, qualities that testify to the high level of artisanal craftsmanship across the Alps of the period.
Design Features:
The Bowl: Notably slightly rounded, a feature that softens the geometric lines of the glass and promotes the oxygenation of the wine during tasting.
The Rim: It is adorned with a strict six-facet cut that wraps around the bowl, creating splendid plays of light and magnificently refracting the crystal’s brilliance.
The Stem: In perfect harmony with the upper structure, the stem repeats the same six-faceted facet work, ensuring aesthetic continuity, elegance, and a solid grip.
The Inner Details: The refined geometric facets converge at the bottom, revealing from above a striking, broad, and clear star pattern.
