Plate - Brass - pair of bronze-plated handles

Large pair of gilded zinc stands with splendid bas-reliefs on the upper parts, depicting life from the ancient Roman period, with scenes of couples in romantic situations. And something rare that I have never seen: the lower part also features different engravings. Dimensions: 14 x 33 x 33 cm; the base is 16 x 16 cm; weight 3.2 + 3.2 kg. Period: 1900.
