Description from the seller
The camera pictured in the image is a famous Lubitel 2, a medium-format twin-lens reflex model produced in the Soviet Union by Lomography between the 1960s and 1980s. This device, mainly made of black Bakelite, has become a true icon of vintage-styled analog photography and is highly sought after by collectors and Lomography enthusiasts. The camera is equipped with two lenses coupled via geared rings: the upper one serves as a waist-level viewfinder for focusing, while the lower 75mm lens with a maximum aperture of f/4.5 is the taking lens that captures the image on the classic 120 film, producing square frames measuring 6 by 6 centimeters. The shown example is in very good cosmetic condition, with the white lettering of the front logo well defined and the mechanical details visibly preserved. Along with the camera body is included its original glossy black faux-leather protective case, equipped with a strap and a distinctive front opening for the lens. A perfect lot to enrich a collection of historic cameras or to experience the charm of manual shooting from days gone by.
