1960s–1970s Murano Style Art Glass Vases Pair – Vibrant Hand-Blown Spiral Design
An eye-catching pair of Murano Style art glass vases showcasing the bold colors and sculptural aesthetics associated with mid-century Italian glass design. Featuring an emerald green vase with amber-yellow handles and a cobalt blue vase with ruby-red handles, both pieces are enhanced by elegant applied spiral trails wrapped around the neck, creating a striking visual effect.
Created in the Murano Style during the second half of the 20th century, these decorative vases display excellent glassmaking craftsmanship and a playful use of contrasting colors. Their graceful baluster-shaped bodies, twin handles, and hand-applied decorative elements make them highly attractive display pieces, whether used individually or as a complementary pair.
The green vase measures approximately 17 cm high × 13.5 cm wide × 8.5 cm deep (6.69 × 5.31 × 3.35 inches). The blue vase is slightly taller, measuring 17.5 cm in height (6.89 inches). Their harmonious proportions and vivid palette make them ideal for modern, vintage, or eclectic interiors.
Both vases are in good vintage condition, showing light signs of age and use consistent with their period. Minor bubbles, irregularities, or variations in the glass may be present, reflecting the handcrafted nature of the production process.
Highly decorative and collectible, this colorful Murano Style pair embodies the expressive design language of Italian art glass and offers a wonderful opportunity for collectors and interior design enthusiasts seeking distinctive vintage decorative objects.
