AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

An antique oak farmhouse table with six chairs

A characterful antique dining set consisting of a wide farmhouse table and six matching chairs, presumably dating from the 19th century. The whole is made of solid oak and exudes the atmosphere of a life spent in use in a real farmhouse kitchen.

The tabletop consists of broad solid planks with a rich patina formed over the years. The wear, color change and small irregularities are authentic and inseparably linked to the history of this piece. The table stands on sturdy, square-tapering legs and is solidly constructed. The table legs are slightly extended (see photo).

The six chairs have a simple yet elegant profile with a curved top rail, turned front legs and a solid wooden seat.

Table and chairs are not demonstrably original as a set, but fit perfectly together in wood type, color and atmosphere, and have long been used as a unit.
This set has always had a fixed place in the parental home and has been carefully kept within family ownership.

Dimensions:
Table:
Height 80 cm
Length 200 cm
Width 97 cm
