Four photographs, placed side by side, form a square that alternates with a 90° rotation the positive and negative of four details from PASSATEMPO (1992-93).
In that work, my gaze is obscured by numerous fragments of glass and by an intact hourglass that overlays the lenses of my glasses. The overall image, in turn, repeats seven times and alternates, with a 45° rotation and in progressively decreasing and concentric measure, each of the seven colors of the iris.
