Description from the seller
The Holy Grail of Modern Gin History: Monkey 47 – Very First Batch (May 2010)Up for auction is an incredibly rare, museum-grade bottle of Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin, originating from the legendary very first batch released in May 2010.
When Alexander Stein and Christoph Keller revolutionized the gin world in 2010, the gin was distilled in extremely small micro-batches of only 100 liters at the famous "Stählemühle" distillery. This bottle, bearing the prestigious Bottle Number 1388, is a direct relic from those first weeks of production, long before the brand achieved global cult status.
As nearly all bottles from this initial launch were opened and consumed over 16 years ago, finding a completely intact, sealed first-generation bottle today is close to impossible.
