Elegant Gilt Crystal Liqueur Glass / Tumbler – Late 19th / Early 20th Century
Elegant small crystal glass with faceted octagonal form and finely executed gilt decoration.
The piece is made from clear moulded crystal featuring recessed cartouche-shaped panels highlighted with hand-applied gilded geometric motifs and decorative dot borders. The combination of transparent crystal and gold decoration creates an attractive and refined appearance characteristic of decorative tableware from the late 19th to early 20th century.
The base displays a polished pontil-like finish and the glass shows the quality and brilliance associated with fine European crystal production of the period.
Condition is good antique condition with minor signs of age and use, including slight wear to the gilding commensurate with age. No major chips or cracks observed. Please consult the photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the description.
