Venetian Murano glass chandelier from the 1950s–60s with five curved arms and tulip-shaped gold/amber shades, handblown Murano glass, 70 cm diameter, height 70 cm (85 cm including chain), 5 fittings, weighs 14 kg, one piece, origin Murano, Italy; in good condition with minor signs of age and in working order.
Description from the seller
Venetian chandelier in Murano glass, dating from the 1960s, glass in perfect condition, small abrasions on the chain, functioning.
Hand-worked and blown glass, it is characterized by floral details, with leaves and flowers finely crafted in a light gold/amber color.
It features 5 curved arms with 5 lampshades recalling the tulip shape, and decorative elements, 3 flowers, 3 large leaves and 5 small leaves; the structure is composed of 5 finely worked pieces and 1 final pendulum.
Similar pieces can be attributed to historic Murano glassworks such as AVEM or Barovier & Toso or to Luigi Fornasier.
Measurements: height with chain 85 cm, width and depth 70 cm.
Shipping costs include insurance, tracking, and proper packing with polyfoam and a box, both internally and externally lined with 3 cm thick polystyrene.
N.B. The chandelier will be dismantled for transport to ensure integrity.
