A masterpiece by photographer Yuki Aoyama.
The book is like new and signed on the first page. It is a book weighing over 2 kilograms.
Between 2001 and 2002, he undertook two around-the-world trips with the aim of overcoming his shyness and deciding the course of his life.
In 2005, he graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Tsukuba and moved to Tokyo to work as a freelance photographer.
In 2007, he received the Excellence Award at Canon's New Cosmos of Photography competition.
Since 2009, he has published more than 100 books—including photography books—through commercial publishers (many of them translations).
Since 2015, he has been a full member of the Japan Professional Photographers Society (JPS).
In works such as "Salaryman", "Schoolgirl Complex" and "In Praise of Girls", he creates portraits that explore symbolism, individuality and relationships. He uses motifs of "symbolic figures of Japanese society" while reflecting his own view of adolescence and his images of girls and parents. His most recent work addresses the sensitivity and playful spirit of children.
"Schoolgirl Complex" was adapted into a film in 2013 (starring Aoi Morikawa and Mugi Kadowaki).
The photography books in the series have become best-sellers, with over 100,000 copies sold.
In 2015, his book "Musume to! Salaryman" appeared in numerous media outlets both in Japan and abroad (BBC, CNN, etc.).
He has also produced photo books of actors, idols and artists who have become icons of their time, such as Yuriko Yoshitaka, Rino Sashihara, Rina Ikoma and Oriental Radio.
