AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Magnificent and rare clock, a piece made to obtain a diploma by a master clockmaker. Unique in its kind, two bells with an eight-day pulley mechanism and bell changes on the hours... one hammer, porcelain dial—revolutionary or Republican era, the pediment is made of thick forged iron. The four seasons are in bronze!! The dial is unfortunately cracked and requires restoration of higher quality. The cords are catgut, everything is period and in excellent condition, serviced by a professional. It chimes the quarters and hours and has a 30-day calendar. We can date it to between 1792 and 1805. It is complete: case, lock, bubble glass, weights, bronze balance and key... everything is period!! It must be collected from my home, 67116 Reichstett, France. A person will be present to assist with transporting it to the vehicle. No packaging needed, a blanket is sufficient. Access is very easy.
