The abbreviations «IC XC», placed on both sides of the head, correspond to «Jesus Christ» in Greek.
The text of the book is written in Church Slavonic and corresponds to the passage of Matthew 11:28:
«Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest».
