Description from the seller
Beautiful and decorative bronze bowl from the Danish manufacturer Ædel Malm, featuring a relief with Lily of the Valley. The bowl has a warm dark brown patina with subtle bronze accents, which adds extra depth to the sculptural design.
At the underside is still the original paper factory label. Ædel Malm was a Danish producer of decorative objects in bronze and brass. The studio gained particular fame in the 1950s and 1960s with artistic bowls, candelabras, and small sculptures often inspired by nature, Scandinavian folklore, and the organic formal language of Danish modernism. Their objects were produced in relatively small editions and are today beloved by collectors of Scandinavian design.
Good vintage condition, with normal signs of use and aging appropriate to the age. The original label is still present. See photos for an accurate impression of the condition.
