Victorian sewing/work box, England, second half of the 20th Century.

Elegant wooden sewing box with attractive figured grain, original mirror, brass fittings and working lock with key.

The interior includes a lower drawer with removable compartments and a central cylindrical holder for sewing accessories.

Dimensions: 37 × 27 cm.

Good antique condition with expected wear consistent with age and use. Minor signs of ageing and use are present. Mirror intact. Lock in working order.
