Joe Colombo designed Spider lamp, an Italian mid‑century red B22 bayonet original edition lamp by Oluce, 1965, with an adjustable lampshade that rotates vertically and horizontally, made of steel and measuring 40 cm high, 20 cm wide, and 30 cm deep, in good used condition and in working order.

This piece, dating from the first edition characterized by the original B22 bayonet version and available in red.
Its versatility shines through its highly adjustable features, which allow the lampshade to be rotated both vertically and horizontally. Designed in 1965, this iconic lamp continues to be meticulously manufactured by Oluce in Italy, using traditional production methods and prioritizing attention to detail, quality materials, and handcrafted workmanship.
Spider, honored with the prestigious Compasso d'Oro prize in 1967, occupies a place in the permanent collections of prestigious institutions such as the Triennale di Milano, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich. In 1972, it was exhibited at MoMA in New York as part of an innovative show that pushed Italian design onto the international stage, titled "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape".
