Cassolette - Marble

Beautiful pair of Carrara white marble urns, from the 1900s, Napoleon III style. The central body and the base are carved and polished marble, the handles, pinnacles and garlands that embellish the two cups are in bronze gilded in gold using the old mercury technique, all done by hand and chiseled, with the sculptures created using lost-wax casting. All intact with bronze feet, all carefully finished and precious. They measure: height 26.5 cm, width 12 cm, depth 10 cm. They will be professionally packed.
