In an auction: an exceptional variant of the Voigtländer Bessa folding camera, a classic of German engineering from the thirties. This model stands out for the presence of the rare metal sport-frame viewfinder, partially extended on the right side, designed for rapid action framing. It is a collectible piece of great interest, perfect to enrich a display dedicated to the history of analog photography in the twentieth century. The folding body features a black finish with the Voigtländer brand elegantly impressed on the top of the front. The camera is fitted with a central Compur shutter and a Voigtar anastigmatic lens, a famous pairing for the era. Included with the lot is its original protective leather case in dark brown, characterized by a front metal-shaped closure and equipped with its adjustable leather strap.
