Description from the seller
Edwardian Dark-Stained Wood Nesting Tables, England, circa 1910
A set of three antique English nesting side tables from the Edwardian period, made in dark-stained wood. The tables are designed to slide neatly together, offering practical use as occasional side tables while retaining a refined early 20th-century English furniture character.
Manufacturer and origin: England
Year: circa 1910
Style and use: Edwardian nesting side tables for use beside a sofa, armchair, reading area, or as layered display tables.
Size:
Large: H75 × W56.5 × D36 cm
Medium: H73 cm
Small: H71 cm
The design features warm dark wood tones, stepped rectangular tops, paired slender legs, carved ring-line details, lower stretcher rails, shaped lower feet, and distinctive diamond-shaped inlay details set into the middle of the legs. The inlaid diamond accents give the set a clear decorative point without interrupting the restrained Edwardian form.
Antique condition with age-related surface wear, light marks, patina, and signs of use visible in the photos. The small table has a slight wobble, but this does not affect its structure or normal use. The item will be delivered exactly as shown, so please review all photos carefully.
A sets of three Edwardian nesting tables are more desirable than single tables, especially when they retain matching construction, decorative inlay, usable proportions, and a clean nesting function.
