Beautiful Singer 28K hand sewing machine in its original condition, complete with the original wooden carrying case, built-in accessory compartment and an original Singer accessory box with various attachments.
This characterful manually operated sewing machine is finished in black lacquered cast iron with attractive gold-colored decorations. The machine still features its original Singer medallion, engraved front plate and many authentic details that make these models beloved by collectors and enthusiasts of antique sewing machines.
The serial number Y3571082 is clearly present.
Given its age, the machine is in a beautiful and well-kept vintage condition. The decorations are largely well-preserved and the mechanism appears complete. Normal signs of use and aging are present, including light wear to the decorations, scratches and general wear on the woodwork.
The original wooden cover/cap is present. The key for the cover is missing.
Also included with the machine is an original Singer accessory box with various original attachments and accessories as pictured.
A particularly decorative and collectible specimen of one of the most iconic sewing machines from the first half of the twentieth century.
