Ningxia carpets are produced in Central Asia by the Hui people, also known as Dungani by the Tajiks, who descend from Muslim merchants mingled with the local populations. In their creations they superbly blend both of their cultures.
The wool quality of this rug is silky, superb, and incredibly soft.
