Offered for auction is an original 1970s Space Age laundry basket and storage stool manufactured and signed by EMSA, West Germany.

This highly distinctive multifunctional design perfectly captures the optimistic and futuristic aesthetic that defined European interiors during the Space Age era. Combining practicality with bold styling, the piece serves as both a spacious storage or laundry container and a comfortable vanity stool.

The molded plastic body is executed in a vibrant avocado-green colour, one of the most iconic shades of 1970s interior design.
