In 1954 the BEAULIEU T8 was one of the first 8 mm cameras manufactured by Société Marcel Beaulieu. It succeeds the Beaulieu 8 introduced a year earlier and retains most of its principal characteristics. It can be equipped with 2 lenses on a rotating turret. The viewfinder is adjustable according to the chosen lens. It also features diopter correction and a parallax corrector.
In 1955 it was selected as the most representative model of the French film industry and offered to the President of the Republic of the time. It then took the designation BEAULIEU T8 Président.
It would be manufactured until 1960.
