Description from the seller

French planter in Napoléon III style, dating to the second half of the 19th century. Elegant French planter in Napoléon III style. Made of ebonized wood, it features refined marquetry decoration with floral motifs and scrolls, executed with great artisanal care and enhanced by precious gilded-bronze applications.

The structure is characterized by a circular upper body intended to receive the flower vase, enriched by a pierced metal gallery. The curved and slender legs confer lightness and elegance to the whole, while the bronze applications depicting botanical elements and decorative putti further enrich the piece. At the bottom there is a decorative inlayed linking element that contributes to the stability of the structure and completes its aesthetic harmony.

The balanced proportions, the richness of the inlays, and the quality of the finishes make this planter a refined piece of furniture, ideal for classical interiors, living rooms, entrances, or antique collections.
