Vampirella artist Arti Visser was one of the first to photograph Alexis Crystal, who at present is a well known and popular adult model, acting in many international adult movies. Here you can see Alexis, who just turned 18, in her starting days.

In 2016 Arti decided to draw the 3 models based on the pictures he took 5 years earlier (2011), sometimes using photographic prints as background for his drawings.
I also show the photo's the drawings are based upon. These are digital and not printed; in the lot are only the 3 drawings. I also show the book that was made with the photo's and drawings, but it is not part of the auction.
Arti Visser is a multi talented artist.
After having graduated in electrical and mechanical engineering, he started his professional work as technical illustrator.
Basically, Arti likes to draw everything; from cars, motorcycles, spaceships to houses, clothes and Pin-Ups. In fact, his interest in so many subject made him to draw his dreams and ideas.
Since drawing alone soon was not enough to fully create the images he wanted, Arti decided to study photography and computer techniques as well.
Arti’s work on drawing highly detailed technical drawings, combined with his more loose illustration work, led to being asked by Warren Publishing to ink the highly detailed Vampirella pencil work of Esteban Maroto. Warren could not find another inker that could handle this delicate and complex work.
This was Arti's first work in comics. However, inking other people‘s work, no matter how demanding, was not what he liked best. He made some comics of his own, but especially concentrated on his 2 passions: Photography and Pin-Up Art.
Being interested in all technical possibilities, next to his hand-created art, he also likest to combine this with digital possibilities. Manipulating photographs and combining photography with drawings and Digital animated effects, is a rare artform that Arti fully masters.
