Antique wooden barber’s mirror on a three-pod column stand, dating to circa 1900–1910, made in France from solid wood with an octagonal tilt-adjustable mirror and a round top platform, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and spots.
Description from the seller
Antique wooden barber chair / wooden shaving mirror on a column pedestal – early 20th century
This classic piece of furniture is made from solid, high-quality wood (likely oak or mahogany) with a warm patina. The stand is equipped with a unique, characteristic octagonal mirror that can be smoothly tilted using the original wooden knobs on the side
At the top of the gracefully turned column pedestal sits a practical round wooden tray. It was originally used for placing a shaving bowl, brush and razor, but today it also lends itself beautifully to perfume bottles or small decoratives.
The whole rests stably on an elegant tripod.
