A striking and highly collectible example of 1970s French industrial design, this original JAZ Boulic electric alarm clock perfectly captures the optimistic Space Age aesthetic of the era.
Introduced as a new model in the 1974 JAZ catalogue, the Boulic remained in production for only a very short period and had already disappeared from the catalogue by 1976, making surviving examples increasingly difficult to find today. Its name derives directly from its distinctive spherical “ball” shape, one of the most recognizable and playful designs produced by JAZ during the decade.
