Rare Deco political world globe, Mang’s editor, Stuttgart, 1930. Globe with patina and highly detailed period cartography, featuring air routes, Zeppelin routes, shipping lanes, currents, etc. Still shows Siam, French Indochina, British India, Italian Somalia. German, British, French, Italian colonies, etc. Papier-mache globe with an aluminum meridian axis, walnut base with glass compass, publisher’s mark and detailed legend. Excellent condition with normal signs of aging. Height 52 cm - diameter 33 cm. (Ships with careful and sturdy packing)
