Description from the seller
Antique Professional Double-Horn Anvil. Rare and fascinating vintage double-horn anvil weighing 5 kilograms, a piece of authentic Italian industrial antiquity. The object features a sharp forging, attesting to its artisanal origin. The style of the letters "CLM" with squared corners and the housing enclosed in a regular oval recess are typical of Italian postwar industrial design. Technical Features: Type: double-horn anvil (one conical for curves, one pyramidal for angular folds). Material: wrought iron/high-quality steel, with excellent response to percussion. Superior Details: Equipped with a square hole (hardie) for holding cutting tools and a round hole (pritchel) for drilling operations. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The top face is well preserved, with a natural patina that enhances its character without compromising functionality. Edges still clearly defined. Ideal for: Artisans and Blacksmiths: Perfect for forging, knife-making, or precision hobby work. Collectors: A piece of Italian metallurgy history for display. Furnishings/Interior: An industrial design element for lofts, creative workshops, or shops. Excellent condition.
