Old Babylonian rock-crystal cylinder seal dating to circa 1800–1600 B.C., depicting two gods (likely Enki and Ninhursag) conversing, with a lion-man and a nude woman symbol of Larsa and an inscription reading Abzu; measures 21 mm high, 10 mm wide, 10 cm deep, authentic/original and in good condition, acquired in 2009 from the United States, previously owned by a private collection since 1977 and inherited by the current owner.

Nice rock crystal old Babylonian (1800-1600)B.C cylinder seal , this cylinder seal depicting two god probably Enki and Ninhursag that talking to each other , According to Sumerian mythology, the god Enki and the mother goddess Ninhursag (also called Ninmah in some texts) played a central role in the creation of humans ،،،and a lion man that stands on his back a woman in the nude standing (this woman in the nude standing is symbol of the larsa city)،،larsa city was for sun god (utu). An inscription reading ‘Abzu’ appears here. In Mesopotamian belief, Abzu was the subterranean freshwater realm and the dwelling place of the god Enki.” collected by present owner father in 1977 inherited by present owner in 2009. The seller can prove that the lot obtained legally.
