Conidae shell specimen, scientific name Conus Magus forma Circae – New Caledonia, 1 item, from New Caledonia, year 2024, weight 13 g, authentic/original, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Exemplar of 48 mm, characterized by a slender conical shape and balanced proportions. The spire is medium-high, with whorls well defined and decorated with marked mottling and brown-dark striations, particularly evident in the apical region. The body of the shell shows a dense ornamentation of axial lines, punctiform, regularly distributed on a uniform yellow-ochre background. The pattern appears compact and legible, with soft color transitions and without evident interruptions. The surface is smooth, with well-preserved growths. The aperture is narrow and elongated, with a light interior; the outer lip is thin and regular. An exemplar well representative of the circae form, appreciable for the cleanliness of the pattern and overall harmony.
