Rare pair of two-light wall sconces in finely chiselled bronze. The Louis XVI-inspired decor features an elegant neoclassical repertoire comprising acanthus leaves, ridged ribbon fluting, pearl friezes and summit flames, symbolizing the antique torch.

The arms of light, richly adorned with foliage, terminate in buds shaped like stylized corollas.

On the reverse there is a PB signature for the bronzier. Late 19th century.

Rare paire d'appliques murales à deux lumières en bronze doré finement ciselé. Le décor d'inspiration Louis XVI, présente un élégant repertoire néoclassique composé de feuilles d'acanthe, cannelures rubanées, frises de perles et flammes sommitales, symbolisant le flambeau antique. 

Les bras de lumière richement ornés de feuillages se terminent par des binets en forme de corolles stylisées. 

Au revers il y a une signature PB pour le bronzier. Fin du XIX eme siècle.
