Masterpiece of design conceived by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1956, the table clock "Secticon" is also known as the "Maritime clock" because it was originally made for a luxury yacht. The item for sale is Klein&More's 2002 re-edition and it is also on display at the British Museum in London (https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/H_2019-8034-51). The main structure of the clock is porcelain while the cover is plexiglass. The markings representing the numbers become thicker as they approach twelve o'clock; an elegant and refined detail of graphic design. Under the base it bears the inscription "Design: Angelo Mangiarotti 1956". Unique owner, in perfect condition, working, only requires an N-sized battery.
