Description from the seller
Radio Console Art Déco "Radioridarelli" – Italy, 1930s/1940s – Wooden Cabinet – Working with vintage crackle
Description:
Magnificent and imposing vintage console radio (floor model) produced by the historic Italian company Radioridarelli, dating to the period around the 1930s to 1940s.
The piece is a perfect example of Art Déco style, characterized by an elegant wooden cabinet with a beautiful natural grain visible on the sides and geometric lines typical of the era.
Details, Conditions and Operation:
Functioning: The radio powers on normally. The talking scale lights up and the audio unit is active: you can hear the typical hum and background crackle of wave reception. Given the cessation of analog transmissions of the era on those frequencies, it does not pick up today’s stations. The internal components are original.
Talking Scale: Splendid, perfectly intact, clean and legible, with the names of the historical stations of the era divided by country (Italy, France, Germany, etc.).
Brand: Original "Radioridarelli" logo clearly visible on the lower front, beneath the talking scale.
Aesthetics: The wooden cabinet is structurally solid. It shows light and normal signs of aging on the top surface that attest to its authenticity and history, all faithfully documented in photos.
Components: Original knobs present on the front. Lower fabric grille for the speaker in excellent condition.
A striking object with high visual impact, perfect both as a collectible for vintage radio enthusiasts and as an exclusive vintage furniture accessory for design-oriented environments, offices or commercial spaces.
CONDITIONS FOR PICK-UP (READ CAREFULLY):
Due to its size, weight and delicacy, NO shipping is offered. The item is available EXCLUSIVELY for hand pickup at the seller’s home. Transportation, the heavy lifting and packing will be entirely at the buyer’s expense and responsibility.
