Description from the seller
BANKSY
Save Or Delete (Greenpeace Poster)
DESCRIPTION
Rare official Greenpeace poster created by Banksy in 2002.
This image has become one of the most iconic works from Banksy’s early period. It reinterprets Disney’s Jungle Book characters to denounce deforestation and the destruction of natural habitats.
The poster was produced as part of a Greenpeace campaign to raise public awareness about protecting ancient forests. Soon after its release, Greenpeace received cease-and-desist letters from Disney’s lawyers, which contributed to the notoriety and rarity of this edition.
