This 1960s Mid-Century Modern replica cabinet has been brought back to life through a monumental 33-hour restoration journey. The piece underwent 18 intensive hours of diagnostic cleaning and structural refinement, followed by 7 meticulous hours of sanding to open up the grain. It was then treated with 10 dedicated hours of finish application, receiving 4 generous coats of pure, traditional Tung Oil. The result is an incredibly tactile, organic, velvet-satin surface that modern synthetic varnishes simply cannot replicate.
