Description from the seller
In this auction, a splendid Noblex Micro 14 in its elegant original beige color, considered one of the most iconic televisions of Argentine industrial design.
Designed by Roberto Napoli, one of the most important South American industrial designers, the Micro 14 revolutionized the aesthetics of television sets in the Seventies thanks to its soft, compact and futuristic shapes. The first model was made precisely in beige, while the subsequent red, yellow and white variants were developed later as a chromatic evolution of the project. (ARQA)
Recognized as a true icon of 20th-century design, the Noblex Micro 14 has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York as part of the exhibition “Crafting Modernity: Design in Latin America, 1940–1980,” affirming its historical and cultural value at an international level. (PuroDiseño)
