Padova Argenti - Cini Boeri - Ashtray - Silver Plate

Silver plate ashtray designed by Cini Boeri (see photo of the stamp) in the early 1970s for Padova Argenti, with a squared shape, rounded corners and the classic transverse incised lines, very rational, typical of the 1970s.

Architect and designer, a prominent figure on the international scene in the second half of the 20th century, pupil and collaborator of Gio Ponti and Marco Zanuso, winner among other awards of the Compasso d'Oro in 1979.

The rarity of these products lies in the fact that they are New Old Stock, out of production for over 45 years, with original packaging and in their protective vacuum-sealed wrap opened only for photographing; in fact the thick silvering is virtually perfect and there are the classic signs of oxidation, but with the proper products it returns to perfect condition.
