Sputnik pendant lamp, a vintage icon of the 1950s-60s. Iron, of Italian origin. Chrome-plated, Space Age color. In good condition considering the material and the period. Measures about 45 x 45 x 45 cm. Weight: 7 kg. It is strongly advised to fit a new electrical contact since the wires have been cut in two places and thus should be brought into line with the electrical safety laws in your country. Please note that honestly I am not sure whether all 16 bulbs are working or burnt out and need replacement. As you can see from the latest photos, three were missing and have been replaced with new ones at a cost of €2.50 each. They have yellow filaments inside. Photographed.
