Important equestrian statue of a finely molded and glazed ceramic ridge tile.
Rider dressed in a loose garment with fitted sleeves and a pointed cloak.
She stands upright on her horse, one foot raised. Her other arm is folded across her chest, holding a round object in her hand.
Glazed ceramic of the sancai type, in green, ochre and cream, eyes highlighted in black.
Ming Dynasty, 1368 to 1644 AD.
Height 28.2 cm - length 21.6 cm
Perfect condition, no shine, no loss - completely intact piece
